Pushpender Singla has been the CFO of Vedanta Zinc International since 2016.
He has been with the zinc mining company since 2007, when he joined as the finance and treasury controller of its Aluminium and Sterlite Energy division. In 2008, he was appointed as the finance controller of Vedanta’s Talwandi Sabo Power division.
From 2010 until 2016, he served as the head of finance, commercial and administration, and as the deputy CFO of Vedanta Zinc International and for its Australian Operation.
Pushpender is a qualified as a chartered accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2006 and has a BCom degree in banking, corporate finance and securities law from Bikaner University.
For his work as Vedanta's CFO, Pushpender was nominated for the 2018 CFO Awards, and again for the 2023 CFO Awards.
