Richard Knight started his career as an entrepreneurial agent at Lentas Beverages. He later joined Argility, where he served in various finance manager roles until 2014, when he became the company’s CFO.
In 2018, Argility also appointed him as a member to its Capital Eye Investment Advisory Committee Member. Now he also serves on the boards of Skydata Communications, Ashanti AI, FleetDomain and NEO Retail Solutions as a non-executive director. He also serves as the chairman of Smollan’s data and technology risk committee.
Richard was appointed as Smollan Data & Tech’s CFO in 2022.
He has an MBA degree from Henley Business School, as well as a BCom honours degree from Rhodes University.
