Rivasha Maharaj was appointed FD of Omnia in January 2021 and stepped down from the role in 2022. Now she serves as a mentor to the IkamvaYouth Project. Prior to joining Omnia, she was group CFO at Afgri Group Holdings. After completing her articles of clerkship Rivasha joined Meadow Feeds in June 2004 as a management accountant. Thereafter she fulfilled various senior finance positions at Nampak and Tega Industries. During 2016 she was appointed as financial director at DivFood a Division of Nampak. She joined Afgri in May 2017 looking after grain management, equipment, retail, unigro and harvest time. Rivasha was nominated for the 2020 CFO Awards.
