Our CFO event on 6 April 2016 at 16h00 at Summer Place in Hyde Park, Johannesburg, focussed on 'working ON the business when you're IN the business'. In this first of a two part M&A series we hear from Imraan, Cobus and Deon about the challenge of working on your business while remaining fully immersed in the business. Is there a clear distinction? How do you prioritise and what drives success?
We also get insights from deal makers and advisors on what CFOs should focus on, to be in the driving seat when M&A opportunities present themselves. Andrew Balnaves, executive vice-president at Standard Bank Corporate and Investments will shine his light on the buyer's side, while KPMG South Africa's head of M&A Nick Matthews will look on the seller side.
