Alet Coetzee has been nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards for the work she has done as the CFO of Northam Platinum.
At the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its seventh year, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.
Alet is a CA(SA) and holds a BCom honours degree in accounting sciences from the University of Pretoria.
She joined Northam Platinum in 2015 as a group financial controller and was promoted to CFO in November 2018. Prior to that she served as an associate director at EY, Northam’s external auditor. She worked at EY for almost 14 years and has been involved with the group since June 2007, when she first joined the external audit team.
