Alexander Forbes' Group CFO Naidene Ford-Hoon, quits

Alexander Forbes has announced the resignation of Group CFO Naidene Ford-Hoon from 31 December.

Naidene Ford-Hoon has been with Alexander Forbes for more than a year. Her resignation came eight days after CEO, Andrew Darfoor – with whom she worked very closely - was fired. 

In a press release, Alexander Forbes thanked Naidene for her services and said that a succession plan has been activated. Her replacement will be announced in due course. 

Prior to joining Alexander Forbes, Naidene was group chief financial officer of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) for seven years. She was also a non-executive director at the SARB’s manufacturing subsidiary: the South African Mint and the South African Banknote Company. 

Before SARB, she served as the financial director and marketing professional, respectively, at AFGRI

She holds a B.Com and B.Compt with Honours degree and completed her chartered accountant articles at KPMG in 1995.
