Anthony Clacher new Group Five CFO

Anthony Clacher replaces Cristina Teixeira as Group Five CFO from the end of December 2018.

Cristina Freitas Teixeira will be stepping down as construction company, Group Five, chief financial officer at the end of December 2018. 

She will be replaced by Anthony Clacher, who has worked as a chartered accountant for more than 25 years and has been in financial director and board roles for more than ten years. 

Anthony joins Group Five from the Consolidated Power Projects Group South Africa, where he was responsible for South African and over-border markets in which Group Five operates. 

Prior to this, he served at Supergroup, Bridgestone, Maxiprest and Barlows Equipment. He also served as an article clerk at PwC

In a statement released on Wednesday, Group Five said that Anthony has worked in sectors relevant to the company for the last nine years, providing him with the expertise to head up finance at the company. 

“Anthony has significant experience in restructurings, asset disposals and challenging business environments, which will bring very appropriate skills to the role as Group Five executes on its new strategy.”
