City of Ekurhuleni CFO Kagiso Lerutla has been nominated for the 2025 CFO Awards

CFO Kagiso Lerutla has joined the group of nominees for the 2025 CFO Awards.

Kagiso’s efforts as the CFO of the City of Ekurhuleni has put him in the running for the annual “Oscars of Finance”.

Kagiso was appointed as the City of Ekurhuleni’s group CFO on 30 May 2019 and also serves as the city’s head of supply chain management for four years.

Kagiso joined the city in 2014 as a divisional head of governance and compliance within the finance department and served there for one year and six months. He worked in the office of the Auditor General of South Africa as an audit manager and assistant audit manager after completing his articles there.

The 2025 CFO Awards, which recognises exceptional financial leadership and performance, will take place on 11 November at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton.
