Bianca is bringing her finance and business acumen to the company with the aim of enabling growth.
Marketing agency Demographica has appointed Bianca Raghuber as its new FD. Bianca has been in the role since 1 July 2019, but her appointment was only officially announced on 2 December.
Bianca said that her vision for the role at Demographica is to “bring my finance and business acumen to Demographica to enable growth, optimisation and navigation through challenging economic times, to grow the group with strategic acquisitions, to redefine the role of the finance function in the business as a strategic business partner and to increase the financial knowledge across the business”.
Along with Bianca’s appointment, Demographica also announced the promotion of former general manager Lauren Damant to MD.
About working together with Lauren to build a shared vision for the company, Bianca said:

This results in Demographica being very deliberate in the type of work we do and the clients we work with.”
Bianca is a chartered accountant by profession, having studied B.Comm accounting with honours. Her work experience includes eight years at PwC, where she was a senior manager.
“I have gained significant local and global experience in the mining, construction and manufacturing industries,” she said. She has worked on JSE, Toronto, London and New York-listed group entities.
In 2013 she was seconded to Detroit, Michigan to work on a SEC restricted entity and in 2017 worked in Vienna, Austria, transitioning a new global audit for PwC South Africa.
She joined Wunderman South Africa in April 2018 as a financial manager and, which marked her first exposure to the marketing and advertising industry.
