AngloGold Ashanti has appointed Ian Kramer as its new senior vice president of Group Finance.
Ian Kramer has been appointed as the senior vice president of Group Finance at AngloGold Ashanti. His appointment came into effect on 1 March this year.
Ian has been with AngloGold Ashanti since November 2012 as part of the Corporate Accounting and Reporting team. Prior to his appointment as senior VP of Group Finance, he served as the VP of Finance.
Before joining AngloGold Ashanti, Ian served as the director of Energy and Natural Resources at KPMG South Africa and seconded partner of IFRS Advisory Services at KPMG Canada respectively.
His successful career of 20 years at KPMG included involvement with numerous mining clients in South Africa, more broadly Africa, and Canada. His industry experience covers the geographical areas of Africa, North and South America, and Australia.
Ian has a bachelor of commerce degree in accounting and finance from the University of Pretoria.
