Israel-based A2Z Technologies Canada Corporation has announced the appointment of South African born, raised and educated Gadi Levin as CFO of the company and its subsidiaries with immediate effect. Gadi will be taking over from former CFO Robert Chisholm.

Gadi has over 20 years of experience in finance, including executive positions and directorships with several publicly listed companies on Canadian, USA and London stock exchanges.

He started his career in public accounting at Arthur Anderson and EY after completing a B.Com accounting and information systems degree from the University of Cape Town and a post graduate diploma in accounting from UNISA. About the appointment, A2Z CEO Bentsur Joseph said:

“Levin is a highly experienced accountant and businessman. He has extensive experience on both sides of the table, having served as a CFO for various public companies in addition to having been VP of finance for a large hedge fund.”

He added that, as the military technology company continues to grow and as it nears the next stage of the rollout plan for the FTICS (a life-saving automobile technology), investors and partners are looking forward to having Gadi on the team.
