Thato Moloele to officially take CFO role from 1 February 2025.

AfroCentric group has announced the appointment of Thato Moloele as CFO designate and executive director, with effect from 1 January 2025. He will officially take on the role of CFO effective 1 February 2025.

This follows the resignation of the health group’s previous CFO - and 2019 CFO Awards' Transformation & Empowerment Award winner  - Hannes Boonzaaier, in November 2024. He will join the AdvTech group as CFO from 1 February 2025.

A chartered accountant who holds a BAccSci in Accounting and Finance from Wits, as well as an MBA from the University of Manchester, Thato’s previous role was as a senior consultant in corporate finance at Sanlam. Other senior positions he has held during his career include M&A principal at the Momentum group and corporate finance manager at Deloitte South Africa.
