The JSE-listed mine has appointed Ulrich Bester as its new financial director, replacing Deon Botha.
Sable Exploration and Mining has announced the appointment of Ulrich Bester as its new financial director from 11 July. This comes after part-time FD Deon Botha resigned on 10 July.
Unlirch has been the company’s executive director of business development since May.
Prior to joining the JSE-listed company, Ulrich spent 12 years in consulting and has 27 years’ experience in the mining industry. Most recently, he was the FD at AltX, where he also performed the function of COO.
He graduated with a BSc in mining engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in 2000, and received an MCom in finance from the University of Johannesburg in 2019.
