Wiehann Joubert takes CFO role at DRA Global

Wiehann Joubert moves from acting CFO to permanent position.

DRA Global, an international engineering, project delivery and operations management group within the mining, minerals and metals industries, announced Wiehann Joubert as its new CFO, effective 1 December 2024.

Wiehann served as acting CFO since May 2024, when he took over in an interim capacity following CFO Michael Sucher stepping down to pursue other opportunities.

Prior to becoming DRA Global’s acting CFO, Wiehann was the GM of management reporting and business partnering. He has been with DRA Global since 2018, when he joined as regional finance manager for the group’s Africa projects.

Wiehann has over 17 years’ experience in finance, including executive and senior audit management roles at KalTire and PwC, respectively. He is a chartered accountant and holds a master’s in international accounting from the University of Johannesburg.
