Boipelo Lekubo was promoted to the FD of Harmony Gold in 2020 after serving as the group's CFO since June 2017. She is a qualified CA(SA) with extensive experience in group financial manager and reporting within the mining industry.

She served as an independent non-executive director of Trans Hex Group from August 2013 until March 2017 and currently serves as an independent non-executive director on the boards of African Rainbow Capital and UBI General Partner, where she was appointed on 7 June 2018.
