Mark Stirton is an experienced financial professional with strong entrepreneurial agility and large corporate experience. He is currently the CFO of New Zealand-based retailer, The Warehouse. Before that, he was in South Africa, where he served as the CFO of the Mr Price Group from January 2019. He was with Mr Price for almost 10 years, joining the company as group finance head of strategic projects in June 2014. He was promoted to group FD in 2016. 

Before this, he was the group commercial manager of strategic business development and pharma affairs at Pharma Group for a year, and managing director of Eurotap Investments for eight years, respectively. Mark’s career started at PwC as an article clerk.

For his work as the CFO of Mr Price Group, Mark has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards
