Mary-Anne Musekiwa appointed as Coronation Fund Managers new CFO

Mary-Anne has been deputy CFO since December and has replaced John Snalam as of 12 June.

Asset management firm Coronation Fund Managers announced on Wednesday the appointment of Mary-Anne Musekiwa as its new CFO and financial director with immediate effect. 

Mary-Anne will be taking over from John Snalam, whose resignation came into effect on 12 June. 

John has been with Coronation since its inception in 1993 and “has made an outstanding contribution to the business”. In a statement, the board said that it appreciated his commitment and dedication to the company and wished him well with his future endeavours. 

Mary-Anne has been fulfilling the role of deputy CFO since December 2018. Prior to joining Coronation Fund Managers, she was the CFO of projects at DirectAxis, where she provided strategic and financial input to various projects within the respective business units. Before that, she held roles in the fields of finance, tax and accounting policy governance at financial institutions.

In the statement, the board welcomed Mary-Anne and said that they look forward to her contribution to the company.
