Olufunke Ighodaro resigns as CFO-designate at Barloworld

Olufunke Ighodaro has tendered in her resignation as CFO-designate at Barloworld as of 1 February 2019.

Olufunke (Funke) Ighodaro was appointed as CFO-designate in September 2018 to take over the CFO role in 2019 from Donald Wilson

She has, however, resigned as of 1 February as both CFO-designate and executive director to pursue other interests. Donald Wilson, current CFO, will remain in his position despite his retirement, which was planned for February 2019.

In the press release announcing her retirement, the Barloworld board wished her well in her future endeavours. 

Olufunke had been serving as an executive director at Barloworld since July 2018. 

Olufunke has extensive experience as a CFO, having served at Etisalat Nigeria, Tiger Brands and Primedia Limited

She has a B.Sc degree in Operations Research from The University of Salford and an FCA at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
