Studio 88 group CFO Wiets Wiehahn secures nomination for the 2026 CFO Awards

Wiets Wiehahn, director of finance at the Studio 88 Group, has been nominated for the 2026 CFO Awards. He has held his current position since 2011 and previously worked at RMB Commodities and FirstRand Bank, where he completed his articles and qualified as a chartered accountant.

Wiets Wiehahn is director of finance at the Studio 88 Group, a position he has held since 2011. Before joining Studio 88, he served as finance head at RMB Commodities for more than a year and previously held the position of financial controller in RMB’s FICC division.

He began his career at FirstRand Bank, where he completed his articles and qualified as a chartered accountant. His career spans more than two decades across retail, commodities and financial services.

Dubbed the “Oscars of Finance”, the CFO Awards continue to celebrate leaders who raise the bar for people leadership in South Africa across listed companies, large corporates and government institutions.

The 2026 nominees will be celebrated at a gala event on 26 November, where winners across multiple categories, including the CFO of the Year title, will be announced.
