DHL Express South Africa CFO Craig Henery joins the list of leaders competing for the CFO of the Year title.
DHL Express South Africa CFO Craig Henery has been nominated for the 2023 CFO Awards.
He joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the coveted CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars of Finance”, which is now entering its tenth year!
The CFO Awards have a proud history of recognising and celebrating excellence. The Tenth Annual CFO Awards will be an exceptional celebration of the finest in finance of 2023, but will also shine a spotlight on ten years of winners, recognising the enormous contribution made by finance leaders to the economy and direction of South Africa for the last decade.
Craig started his career by doing his articles at EY. In 2003, when he qualified as a chartered accountant, he left EY to serve in various leadership and executive roles for six years. In 2009, he joined Volkswagen, where he served as a group warranty and maintenance plan fund manager, as well as a group head of finance for its aftersales division, respectively.
After Volkswagen, he served as the assistant MD for Grandmark International for a year before serving as the group CFO of PKF Electronics from 2017 until 2018. He was later appointed the interim group CFO of CONCO, a subsidiary of the Consolidated Infrastructure Group, before joining DHL Express South Africa in 2018 as its CFO.
