CFO Bongani Ngcongo has joined the group of nominees for the 2025 CFO Awards.
Bongani’s efforts as the CFO of Proconics has put him in the running for the annual “Oscars of Finance”.
Bongani joined Proconics, an engineering firm specialising in agile, multi-discipline projects for critical infrastructure clients, in 2018.
Before joining Proconics, he served as financial manager at Masana Petroleum Solutions and Rio Tinto management services. He spent over a decade at Sasol Mining Shared Services, starting as a Topp trainee in 2005. He became the senior financial manager in 2007, a role he held until 2014.
The 2025 CFO Awards, which recognises exceptional financial leadership and performance, will take place on 11 November at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton.
