IDC CFO Isaac Malevu joins the list of leaders competing for the CFO of the Year title.
Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) CFO Isaac Malevu has been nominated for the 2023 CFO Awards.
He joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the coveted CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars of Finance”, which is now entering its 10th year!
The CFO Awards have a proud history of recognising and celebrating excellence. The 10th Annual CFO Awards will be an exceptional celebration of the finest in finance of 2023, but will also shine a spotlight on 10 years of winners, recognising the enormous contribution made by finance leaders to the economy and direction of South Africa for the last decade.
Isaac was appointed CFO of the IDC in October 2020. Prior to this, he was with the Standard Bank group for almost eight years. He was appointed as the head of financial control and was later also appointed as CFO of their CIB Client Coverage division. He also served as a partner at EY.
Isaac studied business and commerce at the University of Witwatersrand.
