Elmarie, who has been redefining the mining industry for women, joins the list of CFO Awards nominees.
Elmarie Maritz has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards for her work as the CFO of Sedibelo Platinum. She has been instrumental in creating new opportunities for women in the mining industry during her time at Sedibelo.

Elmarie joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the prestigious CFO of the Year title.
At the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its eighth year, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.
Elmarie joined Sedibelo Platinum in January 2016 as CFO after serving as the group financial manager for one of Sedibelo’s group companies, Platmin South Africa. She’s worked in the mining sector for more than 12 years, having served as a financial manager, acting CFO and consultant for companies like Alliance Mining Corporation, BRC DiamondCore, Central African Gold, and more.
