CFO Charles Matumba has joined the group of nominees for the 2025 CFO Awards.
Charles’s efforts as the CFO of the University of Fort Hare have put him in the running for the annual “Oscars of Finance”.
He has been the CFO of the university since January 2021. Prior to that he was the group senior manager financial control/director at the University of Witwatersrand for almost five years.
Charles was also the financial controller of Black Mountain Mining for almost five years. Before this, he was the tax manager at the Sars East London office for almost two years and prior to that also served as senior audit manager at Ngubane & Co.
The 2025 CFO Awards, which recognises exceptional financial leadership and performance, will take place on 11 November 2025 at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton.
