Harina steps into the role effective 1 January 2025.
FNB Short Term Insurance announced that Harina Ndaba is its new CFO, starting 1 January 2025. She has been with FNB since 2020, and prior to her appointment as CFO she held the role of senior finance manager (IFRS 17 specialist).
A chartered accountant, Harina completed her BCom (Hons) in taxation, accounting and finance at the University of the Witwatersrand, before completing her master’s. She went on to complete her articles at EY in Johannesburg and consult in the US, before returning to South Africa to become assistant manager at EY, and then joining FNB.
After the official announcement of her new role, Harina wrote on LinkedIn: “This promotion is not just a personal achievement, but a reminder that with hard work, faith, and perseverance, anything is possible. I pray my story inspires others that no dream is too big and no journey too long.”
