Outsurance’s Jan Hofmeyr joins the list of finance executives competing for the CFO of the Year title.
Outsurance CFO Jan Hofmeyr has been nominated for the 2023 CFO Awards.
He joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the coveted CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars of Finance”, which is now entering its 10th year!

Jan has been the group CFO of Outsurance since 2008. He started as the executive assistant to CEO Willem Roos in 2007, after serving on the special projects team at FNB for a brief period. He completed his articles at FirstRand Bank.
Jan is a qualified chartered accountant, CA(SA), with a post-graduate diploma in accounting from the University of Cape Town and a BAcc degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
He was awarded FirstRands’ Newcomer of the Year Award in 2004 and was nominated for the 2018 CFO Awards.
