Julian Palliam nominated for 2022 CFO Awards

The Foskor CFO joins the list of 2022 CFO Awards nominees competing for the CFO of the Year title.

Julian Palliam has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards for his work as the group CFO of Foskor.

He joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the prestigious CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its eighth year.

During the prestigious awards ceremony, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.

Julian has several years of international experience in leading teams to deliver value on a large scale across many multinational organisations in the finance, mining, chemical engineering and energy sectors.

He joined Foskor as its group CFO in November 2019. Before that, he served in vice presidency roles at Metso and ABB. He also served as a financial controller for ABB and ENRC.

He completed his articles at Deloitte South Africa, and has a BCom degree in accounting and finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
