Lerena Olivier nominated for 2022 CFO Awards

The PnP CFO joins the list of 2022 CFO Awards nominees competing for the CFO of the Year title.

Lerena Olivier has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards for her role as the CFO of Pick n Pay.

She joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the prestigious CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its eighth year.

During the prestigious awards ceremony, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.

Lerena was appointed as the CFO of Pick n Pay in September 2019. Prior to that, she headed up the group’s reporting and finance team.

She is a qualified CA(SA) and has 18 years of experience with JSE-listed companies in the retail sector, including serving as Shoprite’s group financial accountant for 10 years, and an audit manager at PwC for three years.
