Shivan Mansingh will take over as MD of Metrofile while continuing to serve as CFO, from 1 October 2024, until a new CFO is found.
Shivan, who is a qualified CA (SA), has been overseeing the day-to-day operations for the past few months. He joined Metrofile as group CFO in April 2019, after leaving Torre Industries as its group CFO.
Shivan has a higher diploma in accountancy and a bachelor of accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand. He also has an MBA from Henley Business School.
In other changes at the information and data management company, CEO Pfungwa Serima steps down from 30 September 2024. He will however continue to be available to the Group on a full-time basis until 31 December 2024 to facilitate a smooth transition, the company said in a statement.
Thabo Seopa, an independent non-executive director, takes on the group CEO role from 1 October 2024.
