The Botswana Gambling Authority has appointed Tshepang Magang as chief financial officer, elevating an experienced finance leader with more than 15 years of expertise in financial management, governance, risk and regulatory compliance.
The Botswana Gambling Authority has appointed Tshepang Magang as its new chief financial officer, effective immediately, reinforcing its executive leadership as it continues to strengthen financial governance and support the country's growing gambling sector.
Tshepang brings more than 15 years of experience in finance, auditing, corporate governance, strategic planning, risk management and regulatory compliance. She has held several senior leadership positions within the Authority, including internal audit manager, financial planning manager and acting chief financial officer, where she played a key role in strengthening financial controls, improving revenue performance and supporting the organisation’s strategic transformation.
Before joining the Botswana Gambling Authority, she worked at KPMG, gaining extensive experience in audit, financial reporting, governance, enterprise risk management and advisory services across multiple industries.
Tshepang holds an MBA from the European Business University of Luxembourg and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Fellow Certified Professional Accountant (FCPA).
