Italtile executive director of retail Brandon Wood will be serving in Tsu's role for the interim.
Italtile has announced the resignation of Tsundzukani (Tsu) Mhlanga as its group executive director of finance and administration with effect from 30 June to pursue other interests.
A 2020 CFO Awards nominee, Tsu was appointed to her role in May 2018. Prior to joining Italtile in 2017 as its FD, she served as an independent consultant, as well as the FD at Ascension Properties. Before that, Tsu was acting CFO at Alexkor SOC. She has served on various board subcommittees and oversaw the finance, procurement and risk management functions of Alexkor as well as its joining venture operations.
Tsu is a qualified CA(SA) with an MBA from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. She completed her financial management articles at Edcon Holdings and in 2009 joined Phembani Coal Carolina, where she held the position of finance and procurement manager.
Brandon Wood, former CFO and current executive director of retail at Italtile, will be stepping into Tsu’s role until her successor has been appointed.
