Yusuf Bodiat nominated for 2022 CFO Awards

The FEM CFO joins the list of 2022 CFO Awards nominees competing for the CFO of the Year title.

Yusuf Bodiat has been nominated for the 2022 CFO Awards for his work as the CFO of The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (FEM).

He joins the list of nominees who will be competing for the prestigious CFO of the Year title, at the annual “Oscars for South African finance professionals”, which is now entering its eighth year.

During the prestigious awards ceremony, CFOs of listed companies, large corporations, state-owned entities and government institutions are recognised and rewarded for their outstanding performance and leadership.

Yusuf started his working life at Deloitte, where he gained experience in insurance, banking, medical aid, pension funds, private equity and parastatal industries, and was the acting chief financial officer of Lion of Africa Insurance. He was appointed as the chief financial officer at The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (FEM) on 5 February 2019.

He also serves on the board of Legal Expenses Insurance Southern Africa Limited (LEZA) as an independent non-executive director.
