Glen Pearce has been the chief financial officer of Sappi since 2008.
Glen is a qualified CA(SA) and holds a BComm degree from the University of Witwatersrand, as well as a BComm honours degree from UNISA.
He completed his articles at EY and started his career as a group accountant and finance manager for Murray and Roberts. He then joined Sappi as a financial manager in 1997 and later became the financial manager of Sappi Forest Products. He was promoted to FD of Sappi Fine Paper South Africa in 2001 and moved to Brussels in 2004 to become accounting director for Sappi Fine Paper Europe.
For his work as the CFO of Sappi, Glen was nominated for the 2021 CFO Awards, and walked away with the Finance Transformation Award!
