Asher Bohbot, CEO EOH: doing things right the first time

“We have a philosophy of employing the best people. Our success is about people, not about technology.” Those are the words of Asher Bohbot, founder and CEO of the South African IT company EOH. Bohbot on Friday spoke with CFO South Africa and explained how he has managed to grow a company in 15 years from scratch to a market leader of 6,500 employees. “Our motto is: doing things right the first time.”

According to Bohbot the EOH-staff combines best business practices with state of the art technologies that ensure delivery of optimum client solutions. EOH not only designs and builds solutions. Through outsourcing services the company can also run these systems on behalf of clients.

EOH provides business and technology solutions across all major industries. The business model embraces consulting, technology and outsourcing. These services are applied to provide high value, end to end solutions for clients. Check back on this website in the next few weeks to read the full interview with Bohbot in which he explains how he has grown his company, which role he sees for South African CFOs in the IT space and why he is slightly sceptical about the "hype of going into Africa".
