Charl Keyter nominated for 2024 CFO Awards


Sibanye-Stillwater CFO Charl Keyter joins the list of leaders competing for the CFO of the Year title.

Charl Keyter has been nominated for the 2024 CFO Awards for his work as the CFO of Sibanye-Stillwater.

He joins the list of nominees who will be competing to take home one (or more) of the 10 awards up for grabs at the annual “Oscars of Finance”, including the coveted CFO of the Year title.

Following the grandiose success of the 10th Annual CFO Awards in 2023, CFO South Africa continues to shine a spotlight on the finest in finance and their achievements in the last year. On 13 November, the 2024 CFO Awards nominees will be celebrated during a gala ceremony at The Polo Room in Sandton.

Charl joined Sibanye-Stillwater as a management accountant. In 2005, he was appointed acting senior manager of finance for the mine’s Venezuela operation and in 2006 he was made head and senior manager of finance. He was promoted to group head of international finance in 2010, and also became the company’s vice president.

Charl was appointed CFO of Sibanye-Stillwater in January 2013.

He also serves on the audit committees of both the Chamber of Mines of South Africa and the World Gold Council.
