Clarissa Appana, group CFO of Tracker South Africa, has joined the list of finance leaders who will be competing in the 2025 ‘Oscars of Finance’.
Clarissa’s leadership as group CFO of Tracker South Africa has earned her a nomination for the prestigious 2025 CFO Awards.
Her C-Suite and CFO experience includes Tracker South Africa group CFO for the last two years, and prior to that, she was the CFO at LafargeHolcim South Africa for two years. She worked for a decade for the Tenova Group in various senior roles, including global group head of internal audit & compliance in Italy and South Africa, as well as the CFO for the group’s South African subsidiary.
She started her corporate career at Sasol Group in group reporting. Clarissa served her articles at PwC Gauteng, where she later became the senior manager.
Clarissa has also served as an executive board member for the various LafargeHolcim subsidiaries in South Africa while serving as the group CFO for almost two years. She was also the non-executive director for financial services group Sygnia for over three years.
The 2025 CFO Awards, which recognises exceptional financial leadership and performance, will take place on 11 November at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton.
