The FinTech firm, which has experienced exponential growth over the past year and has already surpassed the notable milestone of one million verifications, also claimed the overall title along with reigning champion Easy Equities.

Wright explained that the firm values the Fica market at $75 million and will be looking to expand a user base that features more than 15 000 individuals and 85 merchants including the likes of heavyweights Sanlam, Investec and Stanlib.
"The repetitive submission of documents such as an updated proof of residence is still commonplace unfortunately - Fica hasn't caught up with the modern world until now. We involve users every step of the way, from downloading the machine-learning app and uploading documents to linking to merchants and accessing data with their permission," said Wright.
