post-title

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants' (ACCA) innovative online learning platform was last night awarded Study Resource of the Year by PQ Magazine at a ceremony held in London. The ACCA is a partner of Finance Indaba Africa 2017.

ACCA-X was recognised for providing high quality, affordable and relevant financial literacy learning to people all around the world. Supported by online tutors who guide students through exciting and interactive content, ACCA-X is on course to change how accountancy is taught.

Celebrating its second year anniversary in April 2017, ACCA-X has welcomed 175 000-course enrolments from 232 countries and territories. With a diverse learning community including university students, job changers, entrepreneurs and SMEs, the courses prepare learners for Certificates in Financial and Management Accounting or the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business.

Reza Ali, ACCA director of new ventures (pictured), said: 'ACCA-X is going from strength-to-strength. It is wonderful to be recognised at the PQ Awards as it confirms that we are a truly unique learning resource for those looking to obtain finance and business skills in order to achieve their aspirations.

'We are delighted to provide individuals with the knowledge they need to upgrade their financial skills in order to improve their prospects across all industries. Finance and accountancy skills are in high demand in business, public sector, by the self-employed and entrepreneurs. At the heart of ACCA-X is the principle of open-access, allowing many individuals to fit affordable study around their lives wherever they find themselves in the world.'
