On 20 October, AG Tsakani Maluleke will be delivering the keynote address at the live Finance Indaba.
The Auditor-General of South Africa, Tsakani Maluleke, will be giving the much-anticipated keynote address at this year’s live Finance Indaba on 20 October, at the Sandton Convention Centre.
She will explain why and how the finance profession should be a cornerstone of economic and societal progress, and provide practical examples of what YOU, as finance professionals, can do to set an inspirational example for your team and your organisation, and contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable South Africa.

Tsakani Maluleke was appointed as South Africa’s first woman auditor-general in December 2020 after spending a long career at the organisation. She took over from the late Kimi Makwetu, whose fixed term as AG would have ended on 30 November 2020, were it not for his untimely death on 11 November 2020.

She is a passionate and active supporter of education, transformation and advancement. Tsakani has led forums such as the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa, the CA Charter Council and the AWCA, which was founded to support and encourage the professional development of black female CAs.
