CFO South Africa has secured the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg as the venue for the Finance Indaba Africa 2017, to be held on 12 and 13 October, and is closing in on extending its association with the centre into 2018, according to CFO South Africa MD Graham Fehrsen.
The Finance Indaba is the biggest annual event on the continent for financial managers and specialists who are seeking partnerships to drive progress. Last year, more than 4,500 delegates gained valuable insights into realising financial performance and growth, becoming more efficient and accessing funding, among a host of other opportunities from leading players in financial services. The Finance Indaba also incorporates the African FinTech Awards.

The 2017 edition is expected to be an even bigger spectacle than the previous year. The award-winning Tsogo Sun venue has long been rated as South Africa's foremost conference centre and has hosted leading events, including the African Union Summit in 2015 and Africa's first Arnold Classic Sports Festival last year, in addition to the inaugural Finance Indaba Africa 2016.
The versatile 22,000-square-metre facility is located in the heart of "the richest square mile in Africa" and features four levels of meeting rooms, ranging from intimate ten-seaters to the grand Pavilion, which can comfortably cater for 4,500 cocktail guests. Delegates have access to 11,000 parking bays and 4,300 beds in the surrounding area.
