Draftworx provides automated drafting and working paper financial software to about 6,000 accounting and auditing practices.
The South African-born Draftworx is a software solutions company that offers desktop and cloud solutions for automating financial statements and associated task for both accountants and auditors. They have localised the offering with compliance in mind for 12 countries, and director Earl Steyn says they are adding a new localisation every one to two months.

With an affordable Draftworx licence, accounting and auditing professionals get access to a integrated and compliant drafting and working paper suite “designed to alleviate problems identified in current drafting, working paper and audit software”.
Additionally, they have been appointed by the CIPC as one of around 13 recommended software service providers for provisioning of XBRL client-side solutions. The CIPC mandated iXBRL for submission of Annual Financial Statements (AFSs) for all qualifying entities from 1 July 2018.
