D-School promotes design thinking at Finance Indaba 2018

D-School will be joining the line-up at Finance Indaba 2018, having taken a speaker slot.

The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design Thinking at UCT (d-school) trains students and professionals in design thinking through various workshops and programmes, where it meets the needs of users in complex and varied socio-political and economic contexts.

Design thinking is a design methodology that provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. It is increasingly being used for problem solving in other disciplines as it reframes the problem in human-centric ways and encourages a hands-on approach in prototyping and testing.
