Entertainment galore at Finance Indaba Africa, thanks to National Arts Council

The Finance Indaba Africa is the annual one-stop-shop for everything finance professionals need to know to grow their careers and help the country and continent prosper. It is only fitting that some of South Africa's most exciting home-grown artists will be on stage to provide the entertainment during the event Their performances are kindly sponsored by the National Arts Council of South Africa, with Young CFO of the Year Dumisani Dlamini as its driving forces.

Complete is a quartet a cappella group that has a harmonic identity. Their four sweet and soulful voices can sing a variety of different genres, ranging from Gospel, Soul, Traditional African music, Classical and Afro Pop, just to mention a few. Members of the group include the founder and leader, Happy Motha who sings alto, Bonginkosi Motha who sings soprano, Mluleki Chuma who sings tenor and Bubele Mgele who sings bass.

Pilani Bubu is a South African singer-songwriter, who has come with a refreshingly unique contribution to the South African music scene. She is an independent artist, unsigned, funding her own career, and doing it all her way. Having travelled the world in the last three years to explore more of her calling and art, her music has evolved into a unique fusion of genres, including, folk, jazz, blues, funk and soul - old souled but yet still so catchy.

SeanJ is a young, vibrant, energetic South African who has a passion for the stage both as a musician and actor. For SeanJ, performing allows him to give expression to his true self and artistic abilities. It is his mission to utilise music as a means of creating unity and to inspire - "music for me speaks when words fail". It is SeanJ's goal to use music a way of evoking emotion in the listener, irrespective of what that may be. The journey thus far has been an incredible learning experience for SeanJ as he continues to grow as an artist and brand.

HovnBae is a versatile six-piece band from Johannesburg. Most members have travelled the world and graced stages both locally and internationally with the likes of multi-award winning R&B superstar John Legend, Johnny Clegg and Lady Smith Black Mambazo. The band is rooted in R&B, but their trademark is their skillfull fusion of a vast variety of genres like Jazz, pop, funk and classical music.
